Cascade rhythm typing game

Do not chase the words. Catch the rhythm.

Letters and words descend toward the target line. Type too late and they pass. Rush without control and your accuracy breaks. Cascade turns keyboard timing into a survival loop.

How Cascade works

Every target has a deadline.

Cascade keeps the keyboard familiar but changes the pressure. Instead of reading a stationary paragraph, you identify moving targets, prepare the response, and strike before the opportunity disappears.

Choose the source

Play letters, letters with numbers, timed word drops, or Freefall on a pure black field.

Choose the duration

Use a 30-second introduction or build sustained focus through one-, two-, three-, and five-minute runs.

Build the score

Correct inputs, timing, combos, accuracy, and optional penalties shape the final performance.

Reflex ModeRewards the speed of the response after a target becomes available.
Wrong-key penaltyAdds consequence when pressure produces a careless strike.
Hit feedbackProvides immediate confirmation when the target is cleared.
Difficulty progressionIncreases pace and density as keyboard recognition improves.
What makes it different

A typing game where speed is not enough.

Traditional tests let you recover from hesitation as long as the final average remains high. Cascade makes each moment visible. You must decide what to hit, when to hit it, and whether to protect accuracy or reach for a faster interception.

The game reports performance inside its own context. Core typing metrics are not copied blindly into Cascade because a moving-target task measures a different kind of keyboard control.
